Is CueCard free?

Can people see my notes during screen sharing or recordings?

No. CueCard is designed to stay invisible while you share your screen or record. For extra safety, turn off the 'Show in Screen Capture' option in Settings.

Which meeting apps work with CueCard?

CueCard works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and most apps that support screen sharing.

Does CueCard have light mode?

Yes. You can switch between light and dark modes in Settings.

Can I change the window transparency?

Yes. Adjust the transparency slider in Settings to suit your setup.

Can I show CueCard during meetings?

Yes. Turn off Ghost Mode in Settings if you want CueCard to appear during screen sharing.

Is there a desktop version?

Yes. CueCard is available for macOS and Windows with features like Google Slides sync and invisible notes during screen sharing. Try the desktop version.

Is there a mobile app?

CueCard Mobile is coming soon on iOS and Android. It includes a floating teleprompter that works over any app. Learn more about CueCard Mobile.

Does the mobile teleprompter float above all apps?

Yes. CueCard Mobile stays on top of your apps so you can read your script while recording or presenting.

Can I change the text size on mobile?

Yes. Customize the text size so it is comfortable to read while you record or present.

Do I need Google Slides to use CueCard?

No. You can type or paste notes directly into CueCard for any presentation or meeting. Google Slides sync is optional.

How do I sync notes from Google Slides?

Install the CueCard browser extension and open your presentation. CueCard will sync speaker notes as you move through slides.

Which browsers support the Google Slides extension?

Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Does CueCard work with PowerPoint, Keynote, or PDFs?

Yes. CueCard works alongside any presentation software. Copy your notes into CueCard and present as usual.

How do the timer and note tags work?

Add [time mm:ss] to set a timer and [note name] to add reminders in your script. Both are optional.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your notes and Google tokens stay on your device and are never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How does the mobile teleprompter work?

CueCard Mobile uses a floating window that stays above your apps so you can read your script while recording or presenting.

Can I use CueCard Mobile with any app?

Yes. Use it with your camera, social apps, or streaming tools. The teleprompter stays on top while you work.
